BMW M3 GTS GTS Power: $550,000

The BMW M3 GTS 2011, built by BMW, was one the most fantastic M3s ever. The car featured a racing suspension with a roll cage, lightweight panels, carbon aerodynamics parts, titanium exhaust and six-point seatbelts. The BMW M3 GTS and its sibling M3CRT were the two most exclusive M3s that BMW has ever produced. The M3 GTS had 150 units, while the M3 CTR was limited to 67. BMW equipped both models with the S65 V-8 engine producing 450 horsepower and 324 lb-ft torque.

G-Power was the only BMW tuner to offer an upgrade to the S65 engine. It provided the Sporty Drive TU turbocharger system, which gave the car an exceptional performance. G-Power designed an all-titanium, lightweight exhaust system with 100 cpsi-metal catalytic converters. This allowed ideal exhaust pressure to be used with the SK II supercharger.

The tremendous power boost resulted in 650 horsepower (480 lb-ft) and extraordinary torque. The M3 GTS acceleration decreased from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds to 4.1 seconds. The top speed was increased from 180 mph down to 200.

BMW offered the M3 GTS as a $145280 option. G-Power offered the supercharger upgrade for $32,000. This rare BMW high-performance BMW has seen a lot of demand over the years. The current value is $550,000.

1939 Frazer Nah-BMW 322 Sports by Leacroft

Leacroft’s 1939 Frazer Nash 328 Sports by Leacroft is the first modern Most Expensive BMW sports car. It sold on August 18, 2017, for $825,000. The fact that the well-known amateur driver owned this BMW, “Dickie”, made it one of the most valuable BMWs ever sold. Stoop entered his BMW car into the 1949 Spa 24 Hours in Belgium. There he finished 6th and 12th respectively in his class. This BMW beauty had sufficient torque and speed to compete for a decent standing.

The VSCC later accepted the 1939 Frazer Nash -BMW 328 Sports from Leacroft as a prewar sports vehicle. The Vintage Sports Car Club of the United Kingdom (VSCC) focuses on vintage sports cars, such as expensive BMW cars.

Stoop sold Frazer Nash in 1952 to AFN Limited. From then on, until 1988, the history and use of the BMW Frazer Nash 328 Sports remain unknown. It was purchased by the Swiss Rosso Bianco Collection and restored.

The Swiss Rosso Bianco Collection dissolved its business in 2006 and acquired the BMW 3 Series beauty. It was displayed at Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance before it was sold at auction on August 18, 2017.

The BMW Nazca M12: $3 million

Giorgetto Giugiaro built the BMW Nazca M12 from 1991 to 1992. It was a super sports car model. This car had a smooth body and a roof made of glass. The split doors opened at T-Bar.

2021 BMW M760i

The M760i range-topping BMW model is currently the most costly to insure at $3,914 per annum or 326 per month. The M760i is the only -powered BMW model in the current portfolio. However, it is also the fastest car, at almost a second. BMW claims a zero-to-60mph acceleration time of 3.5 seconds for the M760i. Driver tested a pre-2018 model year example. They recorded the exact time along with a rolling start acceleration of five seconds flat at 60 mph and standing quarter-mile times of 11.7 seconds and 123 mph.

Compare that to the M8 Competition’s times of 2.5 seconds starting from zero-to-60, 3.0 seconds for the rolling begin, and a quarter mile time in 10.7 seconds on 129. The pre-LCI model M5 falls right in between. It has a 2.8-second time from zero-to-60, 3.5 seconds for the rolling start, 10.9 seconds on the quarter-mile at 130 mph, and 2.8 seconds for zero-to-60.

The M760i weighs over 5,000, compared to 4,250 for M8 Competition. The M760i was redesigned for the 2020 model year. Its torque increased from 590 pound-feet to 627, while the M8 Competition and M5 weigh around 4,250. But, if you want the fastest 7 Series BMW, the Alpina is your answer. Alpina B7 with 600 horsepower and 590-pound feet of torque is the latest version. It can hit 60 mph from a standstill in just 3.2 seconds (four seconds for a rolling start) and covers a quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds and 123 miles per hour. It’s also much cheaper at just $153,195. The V12 is still the best choice.

Three BMWs models are among the ten cars listed on Mototrend’s List. Maserati is also the only other brand with three models. But, the Performance Plaid models of Tesla’s Model S, Model X and Model X rank higher than all BMW models. The Nissan GT-R NISMO, which isn’t counting the M8, is the closest supercar on the list. Audi, with its 2021 R8 Spyder, is the only German marque to appear on this list. 

1939 BMW328 – $550,000

This BMW automobile dates back to just before World War II. Therefore, it is one of very few BMW cars to have survived. It looks almost like it was transported from the 1930s to the present day.
