The British automobile manufacturer McLaren has a reputation for fast cars. It is known for launching some of the fastest automobiles. McLaren was created by well-known track racer Bruce McLaren in 1963. The brand was originally named Bruce McLaren Motor Racing.

For its cars, McLaren is renowned for creating composite materials that are lightweight and agile. In 1981, McLaren produced the first Formula One vehicle with a carbon fibre monocoque chassis, which achieved its debut victory at the British Grand Prix. With its F1 road car, the company introduced this technology to automobiles.

At the age of 22, McLaren won the American Grand Prix at Sebring in Florida in 1959. He became the youngest driver to ever win a Formula One race with the triumph. He later helped Ford win the 1966 hours of Le Mans. That was the race if you watched “Ford v. Ferrari.”
